My first little blessing is already getting ready for preschool! He's so ready to start school and learn. I must admit that I am a very proud mommy! Kane loves books, loves counting, and gets excited when we practice writing letters and cutting things out. He's such a smart little boy and he makes me so proud! I have to admit he's pretty darn cute too!
Last night we had to go to open house for his preschool. He was so excited and ready to bring his bookbag and all. We were introduced to his teachers and had to do a scavenger hunt when we arrived. First we had to find Kanes cubby with a cup that held the 4 letters of his name. Then, we had to find the bathrooms and then we had to find the sink where we wash our hands. After that we had to find the alphabet rug where Kane will listen to story time and other fun things. Last we had use the letters that were in the cup to complete his necklace for him to wear on the first day of school. When he finished making his necklace his teacher gave him a prize...a pencil! Kane was so excited and so shy at the same time.
Kohen on the other hand did not like the fact that he couldn't make a necklace or go to school.
Kane starts school on October 2nd and I don't know how I'm going to handle it but I know kohen will surely be lost without his big brother. I hate that my babies are growing up so fast.
How do I slow time down??
